About Us

Drowning manSaveGwinnett is a `citizen think tank,` a loosely-knit organization of active and involved Gwinnett residents who are concerned about the future of our county. Together, we will develop a set of policy statements by which our County Commissioners, School Board members and 2010 candidates for local political office can be measured.

How You Can Help Save Gwinnett

The key to pushing the politicians in the right direction is organization; the fuel is information. You should do the following now and encourage your neighbors and those on your email list to do the same:

  1. Subscribe to The Gwinnett Gazette, SaveGwinnett’s primary information outlet;
  2. Subscribe to our site newsletter for quick updates and action alerts;
  3. If you’re into Twitter: @savegwinnett, @talkgwinnett;
  4. Follow SaveGwinnett on Facebook;
  5. Educate yourself. Check the Resources page for links to interesting info and analysis.

You will be joining thousands of Gwinnett residents who are already “connected” and ready to mobilize! Then, when the opportunity arises, be prepared to act. We will let you know when it is time to send an email, attend a public meeting or vote. The key to success is that you do something.
